Ok… so the title really isn’t all that original. What I am going to do is give you a little here and the break it off so you have to click to see the rest. I really do not want to spoil the movie for anyone. I have seen it twice and I am planning to see it again.

I do have to say that if you have the chance to see this movie in IMAX you should take it. I noticed things I never would have on a regular screen. The detail alone makes it worth it. The eyes on the Decepticons are just AWESOME. Oh and that battle in the woods with Optimus and the Decepticons, you can actually see the action. So yes, go, see it in IMAX… NOW.

Now a lot of people have been giving this movie bad reviews, but this movie wasn’t made for people who review movies professionally. You can honestly tell in some of them that they are just LOOKING for something to hate. If they paid any attention they would see the flaws in their logic, but I digress.

Ok, from this point on it’s spoiler time.

First I need to say that this movie was directed by an overgrown frat boy. You can tell by some of the humor in it, that well, it’s not mature. Thats ok though because I still laughed my ass off.  As far as I knew Devastator did not have balls, this movie proved me wrong. The scene with Sam’s mom high on pot brownies was hysterical as well. Though nothing beats the sheer juvenile humor that is Wheelie. I was laughing so hard the first time I missed that he was saying “Say my name!” while humping her leg.

Enough of that, yes the movie was surprisingly funny. It was also moving and dramatic. I can honestly say I had to fight back tears when Optimus died. My lip was quivering and I sniffled a little. I couldn’t help it, it’s fucking Optimus! So yeah, emotional scene. There was also some amazing battle scenes. I have to say I was not aware Bumble Bee could kick so much ass, but there you go. Though I wish he had not destroyed Ravage, I kinda <3 Soundwave. Though, I know they got the original voice actor for Soundwave but WTF on the voice. He sounds like Doctor Claw *L*, I thought they were going to put it through a synthesizer like they did in the cartoon?

Anyway, overall the movie was fantastic. I loved every moment of it, even the ones that made no damn sense. There were obvious places where the changes to the script made other stuff in the movie stop making sense. I am not going to nit pick the movie in this review. I am actually going to wait for the DVD release to wave my Transformer e-peen around. Plus I refuse to give this movie a bad review. Even the places they messed up, it was still an awesome movie.

Now if I could just get myself to stop yelling “OPTIMUS? NOOOOOOOOO!” at random intervals, all will be well.

I give this film 7 out of 7:

(the reason it’s flames is cause I love fire, though I may change it to transformer symbols when I can make a passable one.)

Thanks for the review. I’d actually like to check this film out soon, as it looks great from the reviews.
