Everyone has their theme days like “Wordless Wednesday” or “Screenshot Sunday” I thought I would try something similar. Mine will be Silly Sunday. I will find something funny or amusing and post it here.

The original P.E.T.A. post has at this point in time reached 7 comments. For some blogs that is nothing, but for me that is really impressive. I want to just take a moment to thank everyone that took the time to comment on the subject even though it wasn’t 100% WoW related. I am also thrilled to see that so many people have a problem with the way P.E.T.A. operates. It’s nice to know that I am not alone. Ok, back to the post.
I was reading some webcomics yesterday and came across these. I thought the timing was brilliant.

See, posts and comics like those above are totally worth it to read. Especially when there are places like your local Humane Society or other such Animal Rescue places that are the absolute antithesis of whatever it is that P.E.T.A. stands for.
That organization is basically a paradox of itself because of what they do with the animals they “rescue”, which admittedly I had no idea about.
And the concept of doing a “Silly Sunday” post is absolutely brilliant. There’s a myriad of things you could post and I, for one, cannot wait to “trip over my lollerskates” in fits of riotous laughter on a regular basis.

P.E.T.A. stands for “People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals”. Personally I think they are hypocritical (CENSORED!) who should be (GREAT SPIRITS ALIVE CENSORED!!!) and then (FOR THE LOVE OF THRALL AND ALL THAT IS HORDE CENSORED!), but that’s just my opinion. I guess what upsets me most is they make it seem like they are this nice organization out to help those that cannot help themselves, but they are truly evil. They have no real morals and are only in it for the publicity.
Anyway, onto the funny. I am glad that you were able to see the humor in all that and enjoy the idea of Silly Sundays.
As for the thumb thing. I just know when something looks like it might be a problem, or maybe I am the one seeing things I shouldn’t be *shrug*
